Outside of my academics and various programming projects, I find myself involved in a multitude of outdoor activities. One that consumes a lot of my time is the process of rebuilding and restoring small engine equipment. This includes mainly dirtbikes and four-wheelers. I have completely restored multiple vehicles and am always looking for new projects to tackle. Ever since I was introduced to dirtbikes at a young age, I always find interest in fixing issues, upgrading to better equipment , and riding at various parks in the United States!
Here are some samples of what I have completed:
Sports have and always will be a major part of my life. Baseball and basketball were the main sports I was involved in high school. However, this did not keep me from exploring others. Disc golf has consumed a lot of my time, basically playing year-round if the weather is suitable. I have encouraged many friends to play and to have a good time. Aside from casual play, a few of us participate in tournaments that are hosted in the NKY area.
In the summer, I am usually playing basketball in an outdoor league that was created by some friends from high school called Idlewild Basketball League (IBL). The league has grown immensely since 2015, meaning the competition did too! IBL is a good way to catch up with friends and play some physical basketball. On the other hand, I tried learning wakeboarding for the past couple of years and always look forward to the summer to try some new tricks on the water.
Likewise, I seem to stay busy even if it is not associated with programming or IT projects.
As it appears, I basically have no free time. However, I live on a family farm that can be a full-time job! Mostly in the summertime, I help since school is out. My family breeds, sells, and cares for around 30 Angus cattle. We produce hay, straw, and silage all for feed. Aside from cattle, we typically raise around 6 swine. One thing in common with a farming background is that your hands are always full every day.
